How I Barely Managed To Find the Right Student House in Sheffield

There are certain situations in which one feels happy and sad at the same time, thereby not being sure of what to do. Recently, I faced such an occasion, wherein I had to be excited and worried simultaneously. After completing my bachelor’s degree course, I applied for masters at a popular university outside my country. As my marks were good, I not only expected to get through admission, I was pretty sure that my scholarship would cover the fees for my course, thereby reducing the economic pressure on my parents. However, when the result came, things turned out to be slightly different to what I had imagined. Although I got admission, my scholarship was cut short due to some reasons, which meant that I had to find my own student house in Sheffield as the hostel was full. I was really happy that I was going to my dream college but was worried about my accommodation.

I decided to find a solution on my own by contacting a few people and researching on the web. Little came out of people I went to as they had no substantial contribution to make to help my cause. While browsing through the web, I came across this family run agency that was involved in the business of providing accommodation near my university. I sent them an email to ask for details of the kind of houses they provide along with the rate list. To my surprise, the agency came up with a fantastic solution within no time, helping me to find a house. What was interesting was the fact that there were a few people from my community who had taken admission and were looking for a house as well. After several discussions all of us decided to take a three bedroom apartment, which would be more sensible and economical. And here I am today, happy and on my way to institute I have always wanted to be in.
